Dicko and Sako linked up prolifically at Wolves during last season's Championship campaign and the Palace summer signing hasn't forgotten about his old forward partner since his injury. Indeed, the 23-year-old forward is currently out for a lengthy period with a serious knee problem.
However, a visit from Crystal Palace's Sako may just have boosted his spirits on Wednesday afternoon. Dicko's injury was and remains a huge blow for Wolves, who were heavily tipped as promotion candidates before the league season began.
Sako, meanwhile, has shown that the divide between the Championship and Premier League isn't all that great. After starring at Molineaux, the 27-year-old has made a seamless transition at Selhurst Park.
Among his achievements with Crystal Palace so far, Sako can boast a goal against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and a winner against Aston Villa - something Wolves fans would no doubt have taken particular delight in. Let's hope Dicko can make a speedy recovery and continue to show his ability in a similar fashion.
