Taking a closer look at three Arsenal youngsters who could feature against Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane later this month to play Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the League Cup.
The tie is the pick of the round and should make for a very exciting fixture, but both sides are likely to make changes given the sheer number of games they have to play in the coming months.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger famously uses this competition as a testing ground for some of his younger players and do not expect that to change against Tottenham.
Here are three Arsenal youngsters who should play against their North London rivals:
Krystian Bielik arrived at Arsenal from Polish side Legia Warsaw last January and he is already proving why the Gunners forked out for him.
Able to play as a defensive midfielder or a centre-back, he has quickly moved from Arsenal’s under-19 side to their under-21s and this season he has played every minute in the heart of their defence, helping them to two clean sheets in three matches.
Alex Iwobi is a 19-year-old winger who announced himself with a brilliant goal against Lyon in this summer’s Emirates Cup.
His versatility means he could feature anywhere across the front three for Arsenal and he has the talent to cause Tottenham’s back-line all sorts of problems.
He may only be 17 but Arsenal player Kaylen Hinds is making waves for the under-21 side and deserves a shot based on his form so far this season.
The teenage attacker has already scored three goals and provided one assist in just two under-21 games this season and that follows his three goals in three UEFA Youth League games last season.
A striker who can also feature as an attacking midfielder or a winger, Hinds is one to watch.
