A selection of the latest news concerning West Ham United.
New rival for Embolo signing
The Hammers were linked with bringing in Breel Embolo of FC Basel over the summer, but now the Guardian claim another Premier League side want to sign the forward. Arsenal are reportedly looking at Embolo ahead of making a move in the January transfer window, whilst Slaven Bilic was planning a move for the 18-year-old back in July, according to the Mirror.
It is expected West Ham will renew their interest in January.
West Ham unwilling to deal with Spurs
According to the Telegraph, West Ham are one of a number of teams unwilling to deal with Tottenham Hotspur in the transfer market, having seen the North London club frustrate them over previous deals.
This frustration stems from the fact that the Hammers wanted to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on a loan deal, and although Spurs were willing to pay a portion of his wages if he moved to Crystal Palace or QPR, they would not agree a similar deal with the East London club.
Kevin Nolan training with Leyton Orient
As reported by ESPN, Kevin Nolan is training with Leyton Orient following his release from West Ham. The 33-year-old former Hammers captain left the Boleyn Ground by mutual consent last month, and he will remain with the League Two side for the foreseeable future.
There are no indications that Orient want to sign Nolan on a permanent deal, but they are sure to make a move if the opportunity arises.
