Many of Southampton's players are away on international duty, but the break from Premier League action has given those not with their countries a chance to gear up for a return to league action.
The Saints went into the break with a 3-0 win over Norwich City, and will be back in the Premier League this weekend with a visit to West Bromwich Albion.
Manager Ronald Koeman will have a new face in his ranks, with defender Virgil van Dijk ready for his Premier League debut following his deadline day move to St. Mary's Stadium.
The 24-year-old centre back left Celtic after two years with the Glasgow giants, and will fill the void left by Toby Alderweireld at Southampton.
On Tuesday afternoon, Van Dijk took part in a behind-closed-doors friendly against League Two side Oxford United, and helped the Saints claim a 2-1 victory.
Jay Rodriguez and Juanmi were on the scoresheet in the win, but fans will be most interested to see the above photo, which shows Van Dijk donning the Southampton kit for the first time.
It may only have been a friendly today, but this weekend it will be for real - and West Brom will prove a real test to whether Van Dijk is truly good enough for the Premier League.
