Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored for Serbia against France on Monday night.
Newcastle United may not be in action whilst the international break takes centre stage, but their players are involved in matches throughout the week.
On Monday, it was striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who took to the field with Serbia, as they travelled to France for a friendly match with the 2016 European Championship hosts.
Didier Deschamps' men ran out 2-1 winners, as two goals from Blaise Matuidi handed France the victory, but it was Mitrovic who got on the scoresheet for Serbia.
The 20-year-old striker arrived at Newcastle from Anderlecht earlier this summer, but has so far been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Mitrovic joined the Magpies with something of a reputation from his time in Belgium, and with two bookings and a red card from his first four Premier League games - two of which were as a substitute - the burly forward hasn't made the greatest of starts to life in the Premier League.
However, his luck did turn for him on Monday, as he managed to bag a goal against France; even if he didn't know anything about it.
Southampton's Dusan Tadic sent over a cross, and Lazar Markovic's volley cannoned off Mitrovic's knee and into the net, with the striker no doubt hoping that this will spark a change in fortunes for him.
Newcastle fans are also hopeful of similar, and took to Twitter after hearing of Mitrovic's goal to discuss its impact on Steve McClaren's side.
Some were glad to see that Mitrovic had managed to score without getting his name in the referee's notebook, whilst others were a little less forthcoming in their praise of Mitrovic due to the fortuitous nature of his goal.
Here are some of the reactions from Newcastle fans after Mitrovic's goal against France on Monday evening...
