Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has told France Football that he is not thinking about his future at the moment.
The France international has also said that he had offers to leave in the summer transfer window, but the Premier League club rejected them.
During an extensive interview with French publication France Football, the 26-year-old was asked if he will try to move next summer.
Sissoko replied: “It’s still far away. I have ambitions but I will first think about having a good championship (with Newcastle) and a good Euro, which I hope to win with France. After that, (next summer), I will have all the time for reflection.”
Important player for Newcastle United
Sissoko has been on the books of Newcastle since January 2013, when he joined them from French club Toulouse.
The Frenchman has established himself as one of the best players for the Magpies and is one of the better midfielders in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old scored four goals and created 43 chances in 34 Premier League matches for Newcastle last season.
Sissoko had a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 48%, and won 47 headers, 85 dribbles and 34 tackles.
So far this season, the Newcastle midfielder has created two chances in three Premier League games.
The France international has a pass accuracy of 69%, and has won four headers, three dribbles and five tackles.
