Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at Germany’s performance during the international break.
Germany won both of their Euro 2016 Group D qualifiers over the past few days to edge closer to qualification to the finals.
Joachim Low’s side defeated Poland 3-1 at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt last week and got the better of Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Monday evening.
Die Mannschaft are now at the top of Group D with 19 points from eight matches, two points clear of Poland, who are second in the standings at the moment.
Arsenal attacking midfielder Ozil featured in both the games for Germany, and he is delighted with his team picking up six points from them.
Ozil will now be looking to help Arsenal pick up all three points in the Premier League this weekend.
The Gunners will take on Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and will head into the game in North London on the back of a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
