Doncaster next manager odds: Redfearn becomes clear early favourite, McDermott also linked

Neil Redfearn

Two ex-Leeds managers are in the running for the Doncaster job, according to odds.

According to odds from Sky Bet, former Leeds boss Neil Redfearn is the early favourite to replace Paul Dickov as Doncaster Rovers boss.

Donny have won just one of their six League One games so far this season, picking up only six points - and Dickov has now left his role as manager at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Rovers will be looking to make a swift appointment, and Sky Bet are already pricing up odds for who could replace Dickov in the Doncaster hot seat.

The early favourite for the role is ex-Leeds manager Neil Redfearn, who is straight in as a 3/1 shot having left Elland Road earlier this summer.

A former Doncaster player, Redfearn would surely relish the chance to return to management having shown promise with Leeds last season.

Other candidates in the running include another ex-Leeds boss in Brian McDermott (12/1), whilst Rotherham United boss Steve Evans is the 6/1 second favourite.

The likes of Graham Westley, Paul Jewell, Steven Pressley and even Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are also amongst the favourites with Sky Bet.
