Guy Demel wants Premier League stay

Former West Ham star Guy Demel wants to stay in the Premier League, having left the Boleyn Ground in the summer. The Ivorian defender was out of contract with the Hammers, and due to the strong form of Aaron Cresswell and Carl Jenkinson, Slaven Bilic saw no need to keep him at the club.

The Daily Mail claims that he has been garnering interest from England, and Demel himself is keen to stay in the Premier League.

Study claims Ogbonna signing was great deal

According to a study undertaken by the CIES Football Observatory, West Ham’s signing of Angelo Ogbonna was a great deal for the club. According to the study, Ogbonna is worth €18.7 million (£13.7m), but only cost the Hammers €12 million (£8.5m). This difference in price means that West Ham signed the 11th most undervalued player over the summer, according to the report. The former Juventus star has so far shown his exceptional ability in the Premier League with some great displays this term.

Reece Burke nets first senior goal

West Ham youngster Reece Burke has netted his first goal in senior football, scoring in a 2-1 victory for Bradford City at the weekend. The 18-year-old centre-back is well regarded in the Hammers’ academy, and although he has already appeared for the East London club, they wanted him out on loan to continue his development.

He has been earning strong reviews for his performances in League One, and his goal ensured that Bradford extended their unbeaten run to three games. Highlights of Burke's goal can be seen below, courtesy of the official Bradford City YouTube channel.
