Rangers star Miller has admitted that he wants to see out his career at Ibrox.
The forward said: “There’s nowhere else I want to be. It’s early days in the season but I want to play as much as I can, score as many goals as I can and help get Rangers back to the top league. Then I want to look to challenge for the title next year. That’s where I want to be. I will do whatever I can to make sure we’re in the Premiership next year.”
Miller, 35, has started this season in blistering form, scoring five goals in six games after it looked like he could have been leaving the Gers over the summer.
His increased age has not limited his impact with the Light Blues, and with Mark Warburton leading the side to nine wins in as many games, it appears as if the coach has reinvigorated both the striker and the entire club.
Miller’s current deal expires at the end of this season, and he has admitted that he wants nothing more than to play in the Premiership with Rangers. With the Gers looking well set to secure promotion - even at this early stage of the season - Miller’s wish to play in the top flight next season could come true.
And to ensure he stays with the club in the top flight, he will have to sign a new contract, something that he sounds extremely keen to do.
