Former Leeds United manager Neil Warnock said on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning that Wayne Hennessey is a superb goalkeeper.
Hennessey is a Wales international and has been on the books of Crystal Palace since January 2014.
Warnock has worked with the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star during his time as manager of Palace, and he has spoken highly of the 28-year-old.
“Wayne Hennessey, who I had at Palace with me, is a superb goalkeeper,” said Warnock on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning while discussing Wales' chances of qualifying for the Euro 2016 finals.
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Karl Henry believes that his former Wolves teammate Hennessey is a world-class goalkeeper, as he sent him the following message on Twitter following Wales’ 1-0 victory over Cyprus in a Euro 2016 Group B qualifier at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia on Thursday evening.
Hennessey is a very good goalkeeper, but he is not the first-choice custodian at Palace.
Last season, Hennessey played only three times in the league, while he has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this term.
