Ex-Bear Stearns banker starts her own firm

Entertainment banker Lisbeth Barron is going it alone.

The New York Post reports that the former partner at Bear Stearns and Centerview is setting out her own shingle after completing a ton of big deals during the last five years at Berenson & Co.

Barron, who most recently worked with colleagues at Berenson on Ambassadors Theatre Group’s acquisition of five US theaters, is naming her firm Barron International Group.

The banker sees a lot of sales activity coming from the European TV production sector, as well as more valuation growth in music publishing, entertainment venues and lifestyle and fitness events such as Ironman.
