West Ham fans react on Twitter to Cheikhou Kouyate's goalscoring international performance for Senegal

Ramires Kick - Chelsea v West Ham

The midfielder has been in terrific form this season and continued that theme with his national team.

Whilst we all know that there was plenty of international action going on this weekend, not many would have been so aware of the African Nations Qualifying that was going on.

One of the games in question saw Senegal take on Namibia in Windhoek, and claim a comfortable 2-0 win courtesy of the Premier League.

Southampton star Sadio Mane wrapped up the win but it was West Ham favourite Cheikhou Kouyate who netted the opener – continuing his recent excellent form.

The Hammer bundled in a header from close range to set Senegal on their way to a fifth straight victory and it is simply a continuation of his excellent club form.

Kouyate has already netted twice for West Ham in the Premier League and been an integral piece of Slaven Bilic’s puzzle in that time.

His form has certainly seen him pick up even more fans in the West Ham base this early into the season and they were all ecstatic to see that the 25-year-old midfielder was carrying his current club form into international duty.

Here is some of the best reaction on Twitter from West Ham fans…
