The England winger looks to be on the mend after an ankle problem.
Whilst many of his team-mates are currently enjoying themselves away on international duty with their respective nations, Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend is currently back at Hotspur Way, still working on his recovery from an ankle problem.
The flying winger has not been a part of a Tottenham squad this season because of the problem and missed a call-up to the most recent England set-up for the games with San Marino and Switzerland. Ahead of a now confirmed European Championships next summer that is bad timing.
Townsend is however seemingly getting back into the swing of things at Tottenham, whilst team-mates like Harry Kane are off scoring for the Three Lions.
Tottenham Hotspur posted this Tweet earlier today, highlighting Townsend’s work to get fit again for the club – accompanied with this video of him nailing a mini-goal challenge…
Townsend is something of a Marmite player but when he is feeling in the mood he can be a devastating winger.
Tottenham have struggled so far this season for that little extra spark and England would also like him back to full fitness.
So it is certainly good news that he is stepping up his recovery.
