Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Kane's performance against San Marino

England defeated San Marino 6-0 with Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane scoring one of the goals.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored his first goal of the new season when England took on San Marino in Euro 2016 qualifying this weekend.

The 22-year-old was one of the stars of last season when he scored 31 goals in 51 matches for Spurs, but so far in this campaign he has failed to find the net in four Premier League outings.

However Kane netted a wonderful chipped effort after fine work from Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey to score the fifth of England’s goals in a 6-0 victory against San Marino and help seal the Three Lions’ place at next summer’s tournament as a result.

The pressure is on Kane this season to ensure he does not suffer second season syndrome but his performance for his country suggested he is ready to come back with a bang for Tottenham after the international break.
