Report: Mathieu Debuchy could leave in January, Everton and Swansea interested

The French international has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal.

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is believed to be considering a move away from The Emirates in January, if his first-team prospects do not improve.

The Frenchman, according to Tutto Mercato Web, is being targeted by the trio of Everton, Swansea City and La Liga side Valencia with the player potentially available.

He has fallen behind young Spaniard Hector Bellerin in the pecking order at Arsenal, after an injury hit first season at The Emirates last term.

With Calum Chambers capable of playing at right-back and Carl Jenkinson still on the books, Arsenal could be tempted to sell the French international, who turned 30 this summer.

Everton may need a new right-back. Seamus Coleman is being linked with a move away from the club and Debuchy would be a great signing.

Swansea City are simply looking to build on what is fast becoming an incredibly talented squad.

Debuchy, who arrived for a fee reported to be in the region of £12 million by Sky Sports, certainly looks like he might be expendable at Arsenal and Everton and Swansea are seemingly beginning to circle.
