Photos: Scott Brown focused in Scotland training, Paul Lambert looks ultra relaxed

The Celtic captain led the way in practice, while the former Aston Villa boss looked far more relaxed.

Scotland were busy preparing for their Euro 2016 qualifying showdown with Germany on Sunday afternoon, as Celtic captain Scott Brown led the way for Gordon Strachan's side in training.

The 30-year-old is also Scotland skipper but has received criticism of late for some underwhelming performances, although the majority of Celtic fans don't appear to agree with it.

Brown will no doubt be looking to make amends for defeat at Georgia against Germany, despite the chances of Strachan's men reaching the Euro finals now appearing slim.

Another Celtic personality, Paul Lambert, was also present at Scotland training and looked for more relaxed than during his tenure as Aston Villa boss. The 46-year-old spent several years with the Bhoys as a midfielder and several years at Aston Villa as manager. The Midlands outfit have been praised for looking far freer in an attacking sense since Lambert's departure.

But the man himself also looks like he has had a weight lifted off his shoulders since leaving Aston Villa, too. Will the Scotland side have a similar weight lifted off after the Germany game, though, or is it too late for Brown and co?
