One of West Ham United's recent additions has been speaking prior to his debut.
The 25-year-old was one of four new arrivals at Upton Park last week along with Nikica Jelavic, Victor Moses and Alex Song, and the wide-man has explained what West Ham fans can expect when he gets down to business after the international break.
“If I have the opportunity to go at my full-back I will go,” Antonio told whufc.com. “I can play either side or in the hole, or sometimes as the big man; it depends on where the manager chooses to play me. I’m a person who, as long as I’ve got the shirt, I’ll play.”
That will be music to the ears of West Ham fans desperate to see their new additions in action as soon as possible.
That chance should come on Monday 14 September when Slaven Bilic’s side take on Newcastle United and Antonio will no doubt be hoping to add to the four goals he has already scored this season while at Forest.
That followed a previous campaign when the winger scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists and a similar return in his debut season for West Ham would go down a treat.
