Leeds and Swindon fans react on Twitter to Nicky Ajose's goal-scoring performance

Swindon Town

Nicky Ajose scored for Swindon Town on Saturday having left Leeds United earlier this summer, so what did fans of both clubs think of his performance?

Nicky Ajose wasted little time getting down to business having returned to Swindon Town earlier this month, scoring on his second debut for the club after initially spending a succesful loan spell there two seasons ago.

The 23-year-old ended a disappointing stint at Leeds United – where he made just four senior appearances and failed to score – on transfer deadline day, but that unsuccessful spell at Elland Road is not indicative of his talent.

Ajose may never have got the chance to impress at Leeds but he showed on loan at Crewe Alexandra last season that he knows where the goal is and Swindon fans will now be hoping he has a campaign to remember for the right reasons.

Ajose scored in his first match since leaving Leeds, finishing off a 3-1 victory against Crewe with a 90th-minute strike.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what both Swindon and Leeds fans thought of Ajose’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
