Georginio Wijnaldum sends message on Twitter ahead of today’s game, George Boateng responds

Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum will be looking to fire the Netherlands to victory over Turkey in a Euro 2016 qualifier this evening.

Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has taken to social networking site Twitter to underline the importance of a Netherlands win today.

The Netherlands will take on Turkey away from home in a Euro 2016 Group C qualifier this evening.

The Dutch will head into the match at the Torku Arena in Konya on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Iceland at The Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam.

Danny Blind’s side are third in Group C at the moment with 10 points from seven matches, six points behind second-place Czech Republic and eight points behind leaders Iceland.

Wijnaldum, who will hope to feature for the Netherlands this evening, has posted the following message on Twitter ahead of what is going to be a big game for the Oranje:

Former Netherlands international midfielder George Boateng, who played for Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest among others clubs, has responded to Wijnaldum’s tweet on the social networking site Twitter.
