Gareth Bale sends message to Wales fans on Twitter after Israel draw

Wales were held to a goalless draw by Israel at the Cardiff City Stadium in a Euro 2016 qualifier this evening.

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Wales’ failure to win against Israel at home this evening.

The former Tottenham man started the Euro 2016 Group B qualifier at the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Despite the heroic efforts of the winger, who joined Real Madrid from Spurs in the summer of 2013, Wales failed to pick up all three points and had to settle for a goalless draw.

The 26-year-old former Southampton star has taken to Twitter to urge the Wales fans to stay strong and seems to be optimistic about his side’s chances of progressing to the Euro 2016 finals.

As things stand, Wales are at the top of Group B with 18 points from eight matches, four points ahead of Belgium, who are second in the standings and are playing Cyprus at the moment.
