Rangers will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the Scottish Championship this season when they take on the Rovers at Ibrox in Glasgow this afternoon.
Former Newcastle star Lovenkrands, who played for Rangers for six years from 2000 to 2006, hopes that the Gers pick up all three points today.
Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 12 points from four matches, two points clear of second-place Falkirk.
The Gers will head into this afternoon’s game on the back of a 5-1 victory over Queen of the South away from home in the Scottish Championship.
Mark Warburton’s side have also progressed to the third round of the Scottish League Cup and the quarter-finals of the Scottish Challenge Cup.
