All eyes were on Anthony Martial on Friday night as France took on Portugal.
The Manchester United new boy had to wait for his international debut, left on the bench in the friendly contest.
The former Monaco forward was brought on with the scores at 0-0 in the 75th minute, replacing Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema.
Mathieu Valbuena would go on to score the only goal to hand France a 1-0 win.
Martial was limited in his impact, touching the ball only eight times, and did not manage to have an attempt on goal.
Purely making his first appearance for Didier Deschamps side though capped a life-changing week for the 19-year-old, who completed his move to Manchester United on transfer deadline day.
With numerous clauses in his deal, making his international debut did not cost the Red Devils a penny, with Martial called into the France squad days before the transfer window closed.
France are the hosts at Euro 2016, so Martial will have to wait a while to play a competitive game for his country, but if he has a successful season at Old Trafford there is every chance he could earn a starting spot by time the tournament kicks off.
