Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Emre Can for Germany on Friday evening.
The 21-year-old, who can play as a midfielder or as a defender, made his debut for the Germany senior team in a Euro 2016 qualifier.
The former Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen youngster started the Group D clash against Poland at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt am Main and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Can had a good game, as Germany won the encounter 3-1, thanks to goals from Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze (two).
The Liverpool man started the game at right-back, a position he struggled in at the back end of last season.
