This was all sorts of painful for poor old David. Someone give the Manchester United keeper a hug!
David De Gea hasn't exactly had the best of summers. His move to Real Madrid fell through quite literally at the last minute after some howlers from Madrid and Manchester United on deadline day, as reported by the Telegraph.
He must have been furious about his move back to the Spanish capital getting called off, but we reckon what Cesc Fabregas did to him during Spain's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovakia was much worse!

The Chelsea midfielder was coming off during a clash with Slovakia and he duly gave all of his Spanish team-mates high-fives - you know, as you do!
However, he forgot to give a certain Manchester United goalkeeper one and completely left poor David totally hanging, which was probably the most cringeworthy thing we've seen all day!
Now, De Gea doesn't have to be worried as poor Gareth Bale also went through the same tragic shock of being left completely hanging by his Real Madrid team-mate Toni Kroos a few weeks ago.
Still, this has just about summed up David de Gea's week... poor lad!
