West Ham United signed some very good players in the summer transfer window.

Former Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage said on the SportsHUB: Transfer Deadline Live show on BT Sport Europe on Tuesday evening that West Ham United have had a very good summer transfer window.

“Very, very good window for West Ham,” said the former Wales star when asked about the Hammers’ transfer activity.

Busy summer for West Ham United

West Ham, who are aiming for a top-eight finish in the Premier League this season, were very busy in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers signed Pedro Obiang, Dimitri Payet, Angelo Ogbonna, Carl Jenkinson, Manuel Lanzini, Michail Antonio, Victor Moses and Alex Song among others.

Manager Slaven Bilic now has a very good and talented squad which is capable of breaking into the top eight.

If things go their way after the international break, then West Ham should be aiming for even higher, perhaps a top-six finish in the Premier League.

Of course, there will be concerns about Bilic integrating all the new players into his team, but with the likes of Payet, Antonio and Song in the squad, the West Ham fans should be optimistic of a successful 2015-16 campaign.
