The Tottenham Hotspur striker is the subject of social media attention as always.
Indeed, Hutchison can't get his head around the fact the White Hart Lane outfit will still be paying the 31-year-old several million pounds despite his lack of game time.
Tottenham failed to offload Adebayor before the end of the transfer window but clearly aren't keen on using him for their first team despite his stay in the capital.
I see Spurs omit Emmanuel Adebayor from their 25-man Premier League squad. Yet they will be paying him 5 million.— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) September 3, 2015
The most interesting aspect of the Adebayor saga, of course, is the fact Tottenham were unable to sign another striker to support Harry Kane in the transfer window.
And, with Roberto Soldado gone, the Togolese is one of Pochettino's only recognised strikers.
That said, Adebayor's omission comes as no surprise and will likely be seen by most as the correct choice, with the likes of Clinton Njie or Heung-Min Son able to play up front if needed.
The biggest question is just how much money Adebayor will get out of Spurs before his time at the north London club finally comes to an end.
