Australia fans react on Twitter to Rogic and Luongo performances v Bangladesh

The Celtic and Queens Park Rangers midfielders played together for the Socceroos.

Thursday was a good day for Australia fans. Not only did the Ozzies beat England in the cricket during their first one-day international, the Socceroos always beat Bangladesh (not in the cricket for once) 5-0.

But the Australian celebrations were also good news for Celtic and QPR fans. Indeed, Celtic's Tom Rogic starred alongside QPR's Massimo Luongo as the Bhoys triumphed by five goals.

And it was Rogic who caught the eye in particular with a two-goal haul for his country.

But 22-year-old Luongo also impressed and both have been tipped for stardom by Australia supporters. Luongo has made a bright start to life at QPR in the Championship, having traded Swindon Town for the Loftus Road outfit this summer.

Rogic, meanwhile, has also returned to the fold somewhat at Celtic after his recent injury troubles. Both are most certainly seen as a big part of the future for their international side. Will it be the same for their clubs?
