Tottenham gave Aaron Lennon a belated send off on Twitter after the 28-year-old's move to Everton.
The winger swapped north London for Merseyside on Deadline Day, having spent some of last season on loan at Goodison Park.
And the move put an end to 10 years at White Hart Lane for the wide man. But all Lennon got in the way of a tribute from Tottenham was a single tweet dedicated to confirming his exit.
The White Hart Lane faithful had initially reacted with disappointment at how Lennon has been treated by Tottenham.
But right-back Kyle Walker later took to social media to wish the winger all the best at Everton.
The 28-year-old then sent a message to Spurs fans himself, to which Tottenham's official account responded with the #ThanksAzza hashtag.
Lennon's departure from the capital marks the end of an era, as the speedster was the last of the north London side's squad that beat AC Milan during their memorable Champions League campaign under Harry Redknapp.
