Peterborough United defender Gabriel Zakauni has promised Leeds United fans the club have signed a gem in Jordan Botaka.
Zakauni, 29, is currently on international duty with DR Congo alongside Botaka, who signed for Leeds United on transfer deadline day.
Botaka, 22, made the switch from Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior, and will offer an unpredictability to their attacking play from the wing.
DR Congo were surprise third placed finishers at this year's African Nations Cup, and they travel to the Central African Republic this Saturday for a qualifying match for the 2017 tournament. Leeds fans will simply hope he returns healthy.
Zakauni's comments shows faith from a player who knows him that Botaka has what it takes to excel in English football.
The fact he has one of his countrymen and close pals just a couple of hours drive, or a train journey away, could also help Botaka settle off the field, which in turn will help him produce the goods on it.
