Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock has told talkSPORT that he feels Rangers boss Mark Warburton has got everyone at the club excited again.
Warburton has overseen a perfect start to the competitive season for his club, as the Gers go about winning promotion back into the Scottish Premiership.
“I’ve been up there and with Warburton everyone is buzzing with a young group of players and he’s got them excited again about going to the next level, but it’s great to know they’re excited again up there,” he told talkSPORT.
The real test is yet to come
The real test for this Rangers squad is going to be how they react once they suffer their first real setback of the campaign.
It’s easy for everyone to be confident and to have their head up when things are going well, but Warburton will be tested when the side goes through a difficult patch of form.
If he can ensure that everyone stays motivated on improving and moving forward in the right way in terms of how the club is playing their football, they can back themselves to have enough quality to be able to get back on track.
As Warnock alludes to, Rangers have a god, young group of players but one of the things Warburton will be wary of is how younger players can react negatively through difficult spells.
