Get in the gym - Carroll taunts Cresswell on Twitter, defender responds

Aaron Cresswell

The West Ham full-back is the striker's latest victim on social media.

West Ham United target man Andy Carroll took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to taunt left-back Aaron Cresswell.

Indeed, the 26-year-old joked that Cresswell had complained of a foul in training, whereas the striker felt he simply won a battle of strength against the defender.

And Cresswell responded to Carroll on social media, who seems to be joking quite a lot since returning to West Ham practice after injury. It's not like he wants the limelight at all...

All joking aside, Carroll clearly sees himself as the big man on campus - but it's funny he's picked on West Ham's most popular players as the target of his mockery!

Recently, the striker also taunted goalkeeper Adrian on social media. One suspects both he and Cresswell, though, will have the last laugh... most likely when Carroll is out injured once again and the pair are starring for the Hammers in his absence.

That said, Carroll did get the backing of David Gold on Twitter - although the West Ham co-owner will no doubt be keen to praise one of his biggest investments since taking over the club with David Sullivan.
