Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Pulis furious over failed Berahino deal

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Express has reported that Tony Pulis is furious that West Brom didn’t sell Saido Berahino to Tottenham.

Spurs tried to secure a der deadline day yesterday but another bid for the player was rejected.

Berahino then took to social media to voice his outrage over the failed move, with the paper claiming Pulis is angry that no transfer happened.

The Daily Express has also reported that striker Emmanuel Adebayor is at war with the club over a possible exit.

The paper links him with West Ham, but he’s demanding the final £5 million of his contract is paid in full, which would then make him a free agent.

The paper also claims that he has no place in the plans of manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham defender DeAndre Yedlin was one player from White Hart Lane who left the club yesterday, moving to Sunderland on a loan deal.

The arrival of Kieran Trippier earlier in the summer seemingly pushed Yedlin further down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.

The American says he’s delighted to have linked up with the club after hearing great things about them.

“I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to play for a club with such great history. I’ve heard fantastic things about,” he told the Guardian.
