Andy Carroll has been quick to try and regain the limelight after returning to West Ham United training.
Indeed, the 26-year-old forward suggested Adrian's back is injured after picking so many shots out of the back of his net.
Cheeky, considering the goalkeeper's status as one of West Ham's most consistent and impressive performers.
But there are always two sides to every story and the Hammers goalkeeper hit back with a cheeky response of his own.
It all sounds like there's a good atmosphere at Upton Park right now and the buzz of no less than four Deadline Day signings has no doubt contributed to it.
Now let's see if the likes of Alex Song, Michail Antonio, Nikica Jelavic and Victor Moses can contribute for West Ham on the pitch during a long season.
The east London side have already racked up famous away wins at Arsenal and Liverpool. It's time to take that form to the Boleyn Ground. Maybe Carroll and Adrian can play a big part in that.
