West Brom and Manchester United fans react on Twitter to Anders Lindegaard transfer

Lindegaard

Anders Lindegaard has left Manchester United to move to Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.

The Denmark international has moved to West Brom on a two-year contract on a free transfer after leaving Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The 31-year-old officially moved to United in January 2011, but he was never a first-choice custodian at Old Trafford.

Lindegaard was able to feature in just 19 Premier League games during his time with the Red Devils, and he will be determined to play regularly for West Brom this season.

The former Aalesund man is a very good goalkeeper, and he will certainly be an asset to this ambitious and talented West Brom squad.

Following the arrival of Lindegaard at The Hawthorns on a free transfer, West Brom fans and United supporters took to Twitter to have their say.
