Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at being called up to the England national team.
The 24-year-old will be part of the Three Lions’ 23-man squad for upcoming Euro 2016 Group E qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland.
England will take on San Marino away from home on September 5 and then face Switzerland at London’s Wembley Stadium three days later.
Spurs midfielder Mason is looking forward to playing for his country again and has posted the following message on Twitter:

England are at the top of the Euro 2016 Group E table with 18 points from six matches, as many as six points clear of Switzerland, who are second in the standings.
Mason enjoyed a breakthrough season at Tottenham last season, but he has yet to get into top form this campaign.
The 24-year-old has created six chances in four Premier League matches for the North London outfit so far this season.
The Englishman has a pass accuracy of 85% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and has won three headers, three dribbles and one tackle.
