The forward has been linked with a move to Spurs all summer, but so far his club, who have been looking to make maximum profit for their star man, have rejected several big money bids.
The player is reportedly unhappy over the whole affair, and has hit out at Peace over the long running saga, stating he will refuse to play for the Baggies if he is forced to stay at the Hawthorns.
“Sad how I can’t say exactly how the club has treated me but I can officially say I will never play Jeremy Peace,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

With less than an hour of the transfer window left to run, it seems Berahino has stepped in to push through the move, making it abundantly clear that he will refuse to play for his current employers if he is denied a transfer.
That leaves the club in a difficult position, as they will not want to be lumbered with a player who does not want to be there, while several months rotting in the reserves will only see his current drop considerably.
That makes a deal all the more likely before the 6pm deadline, although it is likely owner Peace will still push for the highest possible price before selling his star forward to their Premier League rivals.
