Rodney Marsh reacts on Twitter to Spurs-Berahino reports, jokes about his tweet

Saido Berahino

The Tottenham Hotspur target has tweeted about his treatment by West Brom.

Former forward Rodney Marsh has described West Brom's continual rejections of Tottenham offers for Saido Berahino as 'lunacy.'

Indeed, West Brom were reported to have rejected no less than four Spurs bids for the 22-year-old, according to BBC Sport.

And Marsh feels the amount of money Tottenham will have to pay for Berahino is bordering on insanity - or rather beyond that point.

He took to Twitter after hearing the news:

Following that report, however, West Brom forward Berahino himself took to Twitter, hitting out at the club's treatment of him - but leaving things ambiguous due to some poor grammar.

Marsh responded to the Tottenham target with a joke...

Only time will tell whether the 22-year-old will end up at Tottenham before the final, final deadline.

Should West Brom sell now that they know Berahino is unhappy - and considering the fact they can get a huge price for him? Or should Jeremy Peace even punish the forward for his attitude?

It's classic Daniel Levy to leave things this late. So what will the outcome be for the West Brom forward now?
