Report: Swansea City could sign QPR outcast Junior Hoilett

The Swans are hopeful of signing the QPR winger for nothing.

It is reported by Sky Sports that QPR are set to offer Swansea City their out of favour winger Junior Hoilett this transfer deadline day.

The Canadian is not in the first-team reckoning at Loftus Road at the moment. With that in mind, they are hoping to shift the player from their wage bill, with the out of favour man set to head to The Liberty Stadium.

Hoilett, who had previously been an impressive feature at Blackburn Rovers, has simply not settled in at QPR and has just one year left on his contract.

It has been reported that Hoilett might even be available for nothing, which could certainly be a tempting factor in the move for the wide man.

Swansea currently have plenty of options in the position, which might make a move slightly surprising, but it would appear that Garry Monk must see something in Hoilett and at a cut-price, is willing to give him a chance at the Liberty Stadium.
