New Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri has been busy since taking over this summer, with several new faces having arrived at the club, and he is reportedly keen on adding further before Tuesday’s 6pm deadline.
And that has led him to pursue two late deals for forwards Carillo and Walters, with the latter actively seeking a move away from current club Stoke City as he looks for more first team football ahead of Euro 2016.
That is not guaranteed at the Potters, who have themselves brought in a number of new recruits this summer, and a move to the Foxes could be on the cards, with TMW saying they would have to pay around £3million to secure his services.
While a move for Walters would likely be an easy one to complete, Carillo may be harder to prise away from Sporting Lisbon, with him being a regular starter in their first team during his four years at the club.
In either regard, it seems Ranieri is keen to add further wide players to his squad before the close of the transfer window.
