Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the departure of Olivier Kemen.
The 19-year-old has left the Premier League club on a permanent basis to move to Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
The talented midfielder moved to Newcastle from French side FC Metz in summer of 2013, but he did not make a single appearance for the Magpies’ first team.
The youngster trained with the Magpies’ first team on many occasions last season and played well for the club’s Under-21 side.
Back in July, French sports paper L’Equipe claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool were interested in signing Kemen, who is very talented and could be a future star of football.
Lyon have made a very good move in signing the teenager, who is certainly a good investment for the club in years to come.
Newcastle fans are not happy with the club’s decision to let Kemen go, with many of them expressing their disappointment on Twitter.

We will regret selling Kemen from what I've seen he looked a top prospect he just needed a loan spell to find himself like Armstrong. #nufc— Ki-ki Delendo (@ellington09) August 31, 2015
Can't believe we have just got rid of Olivier Kemen, absolutely star youth player for club and country, another to the list gone! #NUFC— Tyler Mason (@TylerJonMason) August 31, 2015
