Chelsea's Scotland Under-21 international Islam Feruz is expected to move to Hibernian on loan before the close of the transfer window this evening.
Feruz has yet to make his senior debut for Chelsea, but he is highly regarded within the corridors of power at Stamford Bridge.
The youngster came to prominence at Celtic before making the controversial switch to Chelsea as a 16-year-old in 2011.
The 19-year-old has been a regular in Chelsea's Under-21 side and was rewarded with a new long-term in January 2014.
Chelsea decided to send Feruz out on loan last season, but his two sells at OFI Crete and Blackpool did not work out as planned.
Feruz made just one appearance at OFI Crete before cutting the season-long spell short to join Blackpool, for whom he played just two matches before being sent back early to Stamford Bridge.
Oldham were thought to be leading the chase for Feruz, but Hibs have moved in to lure the talented forward to Scotland.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is believed to have played a big part in persuading Feruz to snub other offers to make the move to Easter Road.
