Charlie Austin sends message to QPR fans on Twitter on deadline day

Newcastle United, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Everton have all been linked with QPR’s Charlie Austin.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he will remain at the club for the 2015-16 campaign.

The 26-year-old has posted the following message on Twitter, with the summer transfer window in England about to shut down in around a couple of hours.

Austin has been linked with a move away from QPR for much of this summer following the relegation of the London club from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of last season.

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League sides Newcastle United, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth have all been interested in signing the Englishman.

The Independent claims that Austin had an offer to move to Crystal Palace but he turned it down, with the British newspaper also reporting that Everton wanted the former Burnley star.

However, it seems that Austin will remain at QPR this season and help them regain their Premier League status.
