According to Goal, Southampton have rejected a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Victor Wanyama, which included £20m and a season-long loan deal for winger Erik Lamela.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports understand that Tottenham's fourth bid for Saido Berahino has been rejected by West Brom - and the forward is far from happy, posting this tweet earlier this hour.

Elsewhere, Tottenham full back DeAndre Yedlin has joined Premier League rivals Sunderland on a season-long loan deal as he looks to gain first team experience.

Aston Villa are on the verge of signing Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori on a season-long lean, with a view to a permanent deal, according to the Daily Mail.
