Arsenal are still in touch with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential move for Edinson Cavani. The Daily Mail reports there is still a slither of hope that Arsenal get the player, with Arsene Wenger in Paris today. However, the club are unlikely to pay the fee expected of them.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with striker Emmanuel Adebayor about cancelling the final year of his contract. That would leave him free to join West Ham United, who cannot sign any more players on domestic loans.

Tottenham Hotspur could also let DeAndre Yedlin leave the club. The American is set to join Sunderland on loan - according to Sky Sports.

Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Joleon Lescott from West Bromwich Albion.
