11am deadline day news: Jelavic passes West Ham medical, Christie set to leave Celtic on loan and more

The latest transfer news relating to Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, Bournemouth, Manchester United, West Ham United and Celtic:

According to Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur have no chance of signing Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama in what remains of this transfer window.

The player has been heavily linked with a move to White Hart Lane in recent days but the latest report claims the player has now left the UK this morning to join up with his Kenya teammates ahead of the international break…having initially waited to see if a late move would go through.

Moving on to Celtic, where new signing Ryan Christie has finalised his move from Inverness this morning according to Sky Sports News.

They also claim the player is likely to be loaned back to his former club for the rest of the season.

Sky Sports News also claim that Bournemouth will not be signing Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman today.

A deal was reportedly in place to take him initially on loan before a potential permanent deal next summer, but Sky sources are claiming that is now off.

The same news outlet also claims Fulham striker Adam Taggart has agreed a deal to join Scottish side Dundee United on loan for the rest of the season.

And finally, Sky Sports News reports that Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic has passed his medical ahead of a proposed move to West Ham United.

However, it is being reported that a deal is not yet complete with negotiations still taking place.
