The two youngsters are hopefully stars of the future at Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur are developing something of a reputation for their implementation of young players at the moment. They have given chances to the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Harry Kane, Andros Townsend and Ryan Mason. This season it is hoped that Alex Pritchard and Dele Alli will fly the flag.
Pritchard had a fantastic spell on loan at Brentford last season and is now recovering from injury and hoping to have an impact in the first-team at White Hart Lane. Alli arrived on a big money deal from MK Dons and started life well in his new surroundings.
The player, who has been compared to the likes of Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, already has a Premier League goal to his name and is certainly impressing.
One person who admits to being impressed is Pritchard.
The creative midfielder told London24 yesterday that he had been impressed with the performances of Alli so far this season:
“It’s good for him, he’s just got to keep his head and keep his feet on the ground and kick on.
“He’s got his goal now so his confidence is high and he’s training well so I’m pleased for him.”
Alli has certainly been an impressive fixture at the club so far and is looking very much like a star of the future. Pritchard on the other hand will just be hoping he is not loaned out before the transfer window slams shut tomorrow at 6pm.
