HITC Sport understands Hull City have seen two bids for Legia Warsaw goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak turned down.
Hull City have been frustrated in their attempts to sign Slovakian goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak with Legia Warsaw rejecting two offers for the player, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Hull boss Steve Bruce is looking to bring in a new goalkeeper before Tuesday's transfer deadline and had identified Kuciak as his top target.
The Tigers have saw their initial offer rejected before going back with an improved bid of £1.1million for the 30-year-old which was also turned down by Legia.
Polish side Legia have no plans to sell Kuciak and are confident of keeping hold of the player when the transfer window slams shut.
Bruce is desperate to bring in a new keeper as he only has two goalkeepers on his books in the shape of Allan McGregor and Eldin Jakupovic following Steve Harper's departure earlier this summer.
Bruce is keen to bring in some competition for No.1 keeper McGregor with the Scotland international enduring an indifferent start to the new season, but he may have to switch his attentions away from Kuciak with Legia reluctant to sell him.
