HITC Sport understands Chelsea youngster Jeremie Boga has agreed a deal to join Rennes on loan.
Chelsea starlet Jeremie Boga is poised to join Rennes on a season-long loan after passing a medical at the Ligue 1 side.
Boga, who is highly-rated at Stamford Bridge, is yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea and he is well down the pecking order in Jose Mourinho's side.
The attacking midfielder was named on the bench for the final game of last season against Sunderland and he was a regular in the club's Under-21s and Uefa Youth League sides last term.
Chelsea are happy to send Boga out on loan so that he gain some valuable first-team experience before returning to Stamford Bridge to try and battle his way into the Chelsea side next season.
A number of sides had expressed an interest in Boga, but Rennes have managed to win the race for the Frenchman.
Chelsea already have 26 players out on loan at other clubs and Boga is set to become the latest one as Chelsea maintain their policy of sending their best young players out on loan to play regular first-team football.
