Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney is yet to score in the Premier League this season - but his impressive record until now has seen some real beauties fly in...

On this day in 2004, Manchester United splashed the cash and won the battle for Everton's wonderkid, Wayne Rooney and spent £25.6million on him.

And it didn't take Rooney long for him to make his mark at Old Trafford, as he smashed home a hat-trick on his debut against Fenerbahce in the Champions League, becoming the youngest hat-trick scorer in the competition.

Since then, the now England and United captain has scored 250 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils and managed to bag himself five Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy in 11 years at Old Trafford.

With so many goals going in over the last decade, we've decided to choose our five favourite goals and share them with you lovely buggers.

So, here are our top five Wayne Rooney goals for Manchester United in no particular order... enjoy!
